Based out of Ajax, Ontario, we provide service to Durham Region and into the Greater Toronto Area.

We have a focus on design & build as well as developing relationships with clients, and this allows us to better understand your wants, needs, and senses of style in order to tailor a project to a your taste.

Y & G Construction Group is headed by Glenn Hunter, Principal, who has 40 years experience within the industry and in 2003 founded the company as Yellow & Green Group of Companies Inc. However, these days the company goes by Y & G Construction Group or just “Y & G” since there isn’t always time to tell the story about how Glenn was called “Mr. Yellow and Green” by a supplier after wearing a stylish yellow shirt and khaki pants combination.

Hiring from the local community and developing apprentices, Y & G has relationships with school boards as well as local employment services. The crew often includes 1 co-op student who is supervised and mentored by experienced workers. We also go through local suppliers within the region for materials to use in your project
